Drill and practice is the cornerstone of any good mathematics programme. Once the concept is understood and translated into a skill, the effort is to help the student master the newly learnt skill through interesting and absorbing practice. The series of New Enjoying Mathematics Workbook with Mental Maths sets about doing this through various means that are designed to involve and challenge the student in three broad areas of the curriculum as required by the NCF 2005—computational efficiency, problem solving, and mental maths.

The first two are met through a large variety of worksheets that make the practice both inviting and interactive. Mental Maths is carefully graded and strategies are built upon brick-by-brick at every level making students apply them easily by first providing written practice of the same, which is then followed up with a mental exercise laying the foundation of future application.

Designed as complementary to New Enjoying Mathematics course package, the series can also be used independently as a set of practice and mental maths workbooks.
